The candidate must be energetic, hands-on, must implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, complete observations and assessments of student's needs and growth, communicate with families on a daily basis, interact with students in a large and small group setting, read stories, maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, participate in monthly staff meetings and professional development training, and be available to work Monday thru Friday. 

The candidate must also be available some weeknights or Saturday's every 2 months for in-house professional development training classes.

We value a positive and active approach to classroom management, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills with the teaching team and parents.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
• An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA Certification or equivalent is a must.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Work Authorization Required

Compensation

• $16-$18 per hour
